strength is critical and it's time for women to pick up weights that we might have once found intimidating. cardio has been fed to us as the end all be all workout for weight loss and fat burn, but it turns out - picking up weights makes all the difference for feeling good in our bodies
each strength section is sure to get your heart rate up on it's own, however we pair those strength circuits with a 45 second burst of cardio to finish each round a bit sweatier
the finisher move we perform for one minute to end the workout. it tends to be a move that uses a muscle group that may not have been as prevalent throughout the workout
all of the moves can be modified for high and low impact. for instance, if jumping isn't in the cards for you, no problem - i have tons of options available to make the workout
work for you!
i filmed many of these workouts in later stages of my own pregnancy and have provided modifications or alternate movements to allow all pregnant women to safely perform the exercises. in addition, i talk a lot about diastasis recti and making sure we are not placing additional pressure on our core in postpartum
i am a mom of two (almost three) little ones. i know all about having minimal time to get our workouts in! however, i know that it is critical to my mental and physical well-being to move my body! strength training has allowed me to move through motherhood with ease and i want that for you too!
